Amanda joined CEMAS in 2019. Her role is planning and managing all administrative business operations for CEMAS and providing high-level support to the CEMAS Director and associated leadership. She oversees reception and fiscal functions for the facility. Her position supports CEMAS research staff and serves as the main point of contact to guests, facility users, and resident students and faculty. She works closely with CEMAS leadership to help develop and execute strategic initiatives. 

Amanda also serves as fiscal associate and research administrator for two Materials Science and Engineering principal investigators and CEMAS affiliated faculty, David McComb and Hamish Fraser. She is responsible for grant administration, assisting with preparing proposal opportunities, and supporting their research group members. This includes includes preparing budgets, tracking award spending, and assisting with reports for internal and external stakeholders.

As a Buckeye Wellness Innovator, Amanda promotes and participates in university-wide wellness initiatives and the One University Health and Wellness strategic plan. She works collaboratively with the Office of the Chief Wellness Officer, Buckeye Wellness, Your Plan for Health and the OSU Health Plan to promote health and wellness at CEMAS.


Amanda earned a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology from The Ohio State University in 2015. She has over five years of experience in higher education administration and ten years of experience in customer service.
